I contracted Universal to pick up my new car from Brunswick (I shipped it from Germany) and deliver it to my home in Texas. I paid extra for enclosed shipping and was told 3-5 days in-transit time. When Universal picked up the car in Georgia, I was told 7-10 days and delivery actually took 15 days and the car arrived on an open carrier (not enclosed). The car was scratched on the hood, the roof and the truck and there was grease on both the driver and passenger seats as well as the carpet and the inside of the driver-side front door. There was also 250+ additional miles on the car when it was delivered.
I have had absolutely no response from Universal, their phones are out of service as is their website.
I guess I'm happy just to have my car. If this company still exists, I recommend you steer well clear.
