WARNING WITH THIS COMPANY!!

First Joe will tell you that he doesn't charge your credit card his $100 fee until it is dispatched with a carrier...untrue! My card was charged the next day! THEN he says he will keep in touch with you regarding the pickup and drop off, he doesn't! We received a phone call from the driver the day of the pickup. He basically took my $100 and I never heard from him again. THEN the driver wanted $750 at the time of drop off, my contract said $700. Joe finally called me back apologized about the mix up and said he would credit my credit card the $50 and he never did. THEN, the driver from Preferred Trucking dropped off my son's car with a catalytic converter missing, O2 sensor RIPPED off, his muffler is in the truck and a dent/kink in one of tail pipes and the driver never told me about it. I took it to a muffler shop, mechanic said that the nature of the damages indicated to him that the driver either unloaded or loaded the car incorrectly, damages totalled $709!! Contract says I have 15 days to make a claim in which I did with both companies, complete with pictures of the damage. Joe said "don't worry honey either way it will be taken care of." He's not taking my calls (he has caller ID) not returning any emails. Preferred Trucking is stating that the driver has pictures and the car was rusty resulting in the muffler system falling off. NOT TRUE! The car is a 1999, I have pictures proving otherwise and the mechanic's statement. See you both in court!! Hope carma follows you ripping off a newly high school graduate's entire savings account and a future Airman! If this review even detours 8 people from going with United Auto Movers then I did my job! I will remove this review if I get reimbursed $759 from this company.

Look at the other reviews that complains about the same things, it's up to you of whether you want to take a chance trusting your investment with this company. Watch out for his excuses, this guy is a HUGE snake!

Rebecca knew everything about the move and the money. The car was suppose to run it didn't. The under carriage to the car was totally rusted. The driver sent us pictures.
