I would never recommend Unique Auto Shipping LLC to anyone. My family and I broke down in Gatlinburg, TN and had to have our van shipped back to our home in WV and Unique Auto Shipping gave me a price to ship it. We agreed and signed their "contract" agreeing to pay $100 at pick up and $400 at delivery (that included all taxes and fees). When we got the first invoice it was actually $104.00, so I assumed the delivery charge would be $396. At 10:00 p.m. the night before the van was supposed to be delivered, the driver's coordinator called and said they could deliver it early, or they would wait until tomorrow, but we had to pay them $150 more. I argued and argued but to make a long story short, they would not deliver the van unless we paid $550 to the driver with cash or check - despite having the signed "contract" showing the amount owed was $500 total, and we had already paid $104. They said that is just the nature of the business. There was no language on the invoice saying it was just an estimate - it said "amount owed" even as he told me on the phone. So finally the $500 turned into $650 or they wouldn't deliver the van. We paid the extra money, but we will never, ever use this company again and we plan to tell everyone we know to avoid them.
