Terrible Customer Service

From beginning to end, the staff of Stan’s Auto Express was completely unprofessional, rude, discourteous, unapologetic, and incompetent. In every interaction I had with them, they acted with complete self-interest and paid no thought or attention to how their actions were affecting me and my family.

We had numerous issues regarding the service from this company:

PICKUP
1. The company did not bring the transporter truck to the pickup location. They sent an individual to drive the car away to another location.
2. The driver was rude, interruptive, and unprofessional.

EN ROUTE
1. The company lost the key we gave them. We had to delay our departure in order to give them another copy of the key.
2. The company had an additional copy of our key made without asking our permission.
3. The company representatives were unapolagetic, discourteous, and unprofessional.

DELIVERY
1. There was a long scratch / smudge down the entire length of the car on the driver’s side. (It does not appear to be permanent, but it indicates the level of care that was given to the car while it was in their possession.)
2. There were numerous sunflower seed shells on the floor in the backseat. (We had completely vacuumed out the car before we turned it over to this company.)
3. Most egregiously, there were an additional ninety (90) miles on the odometer when we received our car from this company, indicating that they drove the car extensively while it was in their possession.

I cannot imagine a worse experience with a car relocation, other than having one's car lost or destroyed. I intend to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau regarding the conduct of this company with regard to my auto move.
