My daughter was scheduled to go to Los Angeles to look for a job. She was all set to spend a week with her sister driving across the country. Quite unexpectedly, she got a job offer but one that required her to be in Los Angeles the following week.

We got my daughter a plane ticket to Los Angeles and then searched several web sites to find ratings of companies that ship cars coast to coast. This web site (transportreviews.com) was far and away the most complete.

Specialty Mobile Systems came highly rated on the web site so I tried them. Their price was little bit higher than most of their competitors (and frankly, lower than a few competitors as well) but the outstanding reviews caused me to select them IF they would pick up the car within 3 days.

They said they had a carrier in my area and agreed to pick up the car in 3 days. They actually got there in 2 days. To my surprise, 4 days later the car had arrived in the L.A, area. My daughter was about an hour north of the drop off location and when she called the next dauy to make arrangments to pick up the car, the person she talked to offered to drive the car to my daughter's location. The car was a little dirty but that was to be expected in an open carrier.

I could not be more impressed with the honesty and professionalism of this firm.
