We had our 1998 Honda Civic shipped from our permanent home in IL to vacation home in AZ. Pick up Oct. 24; delivered Oct. 30 (expected delivery was between Oct. 31-Nov. 2)

Despite the cost ($1095) being somewhat higher than other companies quoted, I'm glad I went through Speciality Mobile Systems because the car arrived 1 day earlier than the earliest date expected, and the car arrived in the same condition as it left. (The good on-line reviews for SMS convinced me to go with them rather than the carrier I was ready to go with--that company had very poor recent reviews which I saw after finding the transportreviews.com website)

The SMS shipping cost is about the same as renting a small car in the Phoenix area for about 6 weeks (or 3 2-week trips in our case). Having our low mileage, older car in AZ will definitely save us money and was worth the shipping cost.
