I paid for door to door service from California to Virginia when the driver called and was in my area he informed me that he could not deliver the car to my home and that I needed to take a taxi, which he agreed to pay for, to a Target parking lot. Because his English was not very good I was unclear about which Target and instead went to the one closest to my home. He was at another Target location and this little miscommunication set the tone for the exchange. When I arrived in the Taxi he went over to the taxi driver and yelled "NOT PAY YOU, YOU LATE" I pay the taxi cab driver and am left alone with the transporter. He begins to yell at me about being late and him missing his next drop off time I try and calm him down and remind him that I'm only late because he couldn't provide clear instructions. He shoves me into the car parked next to my vehicle and snatches the clipboard (bill of landing) out of my hand. He gets louder and by the time has gained the attention of other patrons in the Target parking lot. They begin to call police. From my understanding three separate calls were made to the police regarding the incident not including my own. He walks away with the cash but refuses to let me sign off on the paper work. I tell him I'm on the phone with the police and to please hand over my keys. He refuses. Police arrive and he lies and says I gave him an envelope that contains no money and thats why he will not produce the bill of landing. He was very close to being arrested not for assaulting me (police did not witness it) but because he refused to lower his voice and was being combative with the police. He agreed to let the police search his truck where they found the 850.00.


The man who assaulted me is short in stature, was wearing a woven hat and spoke very little English. I can not believe that this is the first time he had become irate with a customer. He should not be dealing with the public. The owner Enok called me after I filed a complaint and threatened to sue me if I didn't recant. The review below my own is also negative. Possibly the same driver?
