Everything about Ship a Car Direct itself was excellent. My only concern is that they and all auto transport companies only have so much control over the drivers that bid on the deal. As the car was on its way I looked into the records and violations on the particular delivery company who had only one driver. There appeared to be a few issues with safety. Also I was told I would be contacted by the driver as he neared the delivery location. I hadn't heard from him so I called his cell phone and he had no voicemail setup. I decided to be in the vicinity in case he showed up unannounced as it was an hour from my home. He called and asked if he could drop the car in twenty minutes! He was a nice enough guy but I was very concerned as he was backing the car off the ramp fifteen feet in the air he nearly ran the tire off the edge twice! Afterwards he told me he couldn't see because his hat was in the way. Geeeez!
