I am in the Marine Corps and had to move from Twentynine Palms, CA to Virginia Beach, VA. The car I was shipping is a '68 Mustang in good condition and I had never shipped a vehicle before so I was nervous. I got approximately 15 different shipping quotes, asked a lot of questions, and did a lot of research with the BBB and other review sites. Safe-Direct was on the low end of mid-range pricing and had a great rating and varied reviews (more good than bad). I realize that most people who take the time to post reviews are people who had bad experiences so I took the chance. My experience was great. I had time to and an extra car so I was flexible with pick up and delivery dates. I left my car with a friend for the pick up. Tom let me know as soon as someone was willing to pick up my car to deliver in VA (Twentynine Palms, CA is a long ways off the beaten path). My car was delivered three days after being picked up. It was in the exact condition I had left it in when I left CA. I am very happy with the service Safe-Direct provided and because I will still be in the Marine Corps for a few more years, I will definitely talk to them first the next time I need to ship my vehicle.
