I almost went with the cheapest bid for my transport from UT to MT. Fortunately I found this site. Reading a bunch of reviews, many negative ones described very long delivery times coupled with poor customer service by the transport company. Most of these bad experiences were associated with companies that had offered low bids. On reading more reviews, I found red-carpet was rated highly. Many customers called out their rep by name. This suggested that the company's culture encouraged professional treatment of their clients and I chose them. I had never arranged shipment of an automobile and my rep, Jack Crowley, took me through the service the company provided. He described the process, explaining how the bid they had given was somewhat high because I live of the common transport lanes and the higher than average bid was intended to make the transport attractive to truckers. I took his advice. My car was picked up in 2 days and delivered the next day. Jack was readily available throughout those couple of days when I had some questions, and he called me after the transport was completed to make sure things went well. I felt a good deal of confidence in Red Carpet based on how I was treated, and in the end they performed above my expectations.
