I decided to ship my car within two weeks of my one-month trip to New York, where an auto rental is prohibitively expensive. Since I was moving to New York in 6 months and will stay there for half of the time anyway, I decided to ship early to save car rental.

Could not arrange pick up in person as their business is booked quite full. Had to arrange my friend to care for the pickup 3 days after my flight. I got left in New York with one and half week without car. Car was promptly delivered for me to pick up in the city (I tried to save not asking them to deliver to my address in the rural, which is more). Except for that it looked like it went through some sort of dust storm, everything was fine. The driver was easy to get along and we had a good chat while he was driving me to his truck signing the final paper.
