I feel like this is a play rehearsed to perfection. Every story posted (negative) is exact and replayed over and over for every sucker that decides to fall for it.

These people are indeed professionals, professional thieves, liars, and cheats.

I won’t bore you with too many details because they’re all listed below. The facts are simple: we called and were charmed by a pleasant sounded sales rep (Stephanie) who assured us that they were the best, they have their own trucks and more importantly THAT THEY GARAUNTEED PICKUP AND DELIVERY TIMES, we even paid extra for the expidited service (which they later denied)! The only thing they are guaranteed to do is take your money and boy will they do that fast.

Their website says: “miles ahead of our competitors …our nationwide offices, insurance protection, and services will suit your auto transport needs and ENSURE THAT YOUR RELOCATION IS STRESS FREE...” it was far from it.

We were promised a pickup date…it came, no call and went; we called and were told the truck broke down and another one was on the way. Date and time came and went and nothing. Again we called, complained and were promptly called back by a ‘driver’ who said he was on his way (number he called from was a dispatch number for NAAT). I took the day off and he never came and again we were given the excuse that the truck broke down. By this time I was very upset because I realized I had been had.

Now comes the fun part…Trying to get someone to respond to my concerns was a joke. I called and spoke to every person there:

Stephanie ext 17, Natalie and Marlena ext 15, Ryan ext 14, Adam ext 12, and Tina ext 11. I was handed off time after time, hung up on and transferred to voicemail. I asked for a refund form…never got it. I have faxed a complaint letter as well as a request for a refund to both the San Antonio office and the New York office with no response. I am now making this a legal matter.

I even went so far as to call the owner listed on their business license who proceeded to cuss at me because I was calling her private cell phone number (then why is it listed on a public license).

North American offers expedited and guaranteed pick up services for an additional charge of $200. This order was not guaranteed, $1045 is our quote for a standard size vehicle from Virginia to Arizona. Our signed contract with this customer states their estimated pick up date was 3/19. We do not guaranteed pick up or delivery dates as we are working with multicar carriers who must pick up and deliver to other customers and may run into weather or mechanical delays. We advertise that we work within a 3-5 day window for pick up. This customer cancelled 4 days after the scheduled pick up date and my driver left the east coast with an empty spot on his carrier. Much like the airlines, if there are delays, the customer must wait and there are no refunds for delays that are out of the company's control. We apologize we were not able to meet Mr. Rodea's expectations and will make improvements our customer care department for better customer satisfaction.
