This was an excellent first (but not the last) chance encounter with New Way. Mary called me within 45 minutes of my posting but I had to let her down, initially. Unfortunately, I had already booked with someone else who called me within 10 minutes of the posting but due to failure to follow up over the next several days and communicate with me regarding pick up I began to get concerned about a potential lax approach with my shipment if the communications regarding the logistics element was lax so I decided to call Mary back and see if I could book with her and if she would still honor her quote, several days later. She said she would. Great communication with the driver who kept in contact with me even over Christmas. When it came time to arrange balance of payment with the driver, he said he needed an amount higher than Mary's quote minus the deposit. I emailed Mary and apparently the driver and the company had a mixup over the holidays but Mary still honored their price so I paid the driver what my balance shoulfd have been and New Way settled up with the driver the higer amount he required but Mary's price to me, the customer, was spot on the quote. New Way's price was better than many but the same as a lot and it didn't go up a pennyas many other carrier's like to create "add ons". Very, very happy with New Way and their employee, Mary. Pleasant to do business with. Great sense of humor too! I have a feeling if I had gone with the other outfit I would still be waiting on my shipment!
