Almost 7 weeks of nothing but runarounds

They called me after I asked for quotes and told me that I had to place my order that day because they had a driver in the area who could pick it up in a couple days. I said sure but I didn't want to pay a deposit until I knew it would be picked up. He said I had to place a deposit before they could offer my vehicle for pickup. I said OK, but send me an email saying that the vehicle would be picked up in two days. The person I spoke to said he would send an email as soon as he hung up. I gave him my credit card number and they took the$199 deposit. No email.

Weeks went by with me contacting them every couple days or so. Finally, a woman said that if I increased my offer by $200 they could have it picked up in a couple days. Since it had been a month I said sure. They got me the name and number of the driver who was supposed to pick up the vehicle and I spoke to him. He then said he couldn't make the pickup date because he had a DOT inspection, then he said his truck was having problems, then he just never returned any of my calls.

After a couple more weeks I finally cancelled my order. I was told that I needed to fax them telling them I was cancelling and they would refund my deposit within 72 hours. It's been over a week and no refund so I called. Now they said I have to send an email which would go to accounting. I asked that the person just forward my call to accounting but he said he couldn't - you can only communicate by email.

During one round of phone calls, I was put on hold for ten minutes, then disconnected. I call back and I'm put on hold for ten minutes and then disconnected. I called again and said I don't want to be put on hold again because you keep hanging up on me. They took my name and number and said they'd call in ten minutes. They never called back.

Quite simply the worst experience with any company ever. I then went to another company and they got my vehicle in about 10 days. Admittedly I paid more money, but if moveontime had just been upfront with me on the cost I could have had my vehicle 6 weeks ago. It seems what they do is provide a super-low bid to get your deposit but since the bid is so low, no driver will want to pick up the vehicle and you never get it. And I never did get my vehicle from moveontime and they haven't provided a refund even though its been over a week.
