This was my first experience with transport, and would use these people again anytime.

There was some anxiety about contracting with a company I'd never heard of to transport a valuable item. Ichecked their references here and decided the few negative ones had reasonable explanations, and the part of the fee that appearrs to be the agency's charge seemed reasonable. (The "deposit" appears to be the part the agency keepsXXXin this case, $150.) after verifying the insurance claims, I went ahead with teh booking.

The transport company sent a flatbed to pick up the non-running car the very next day! from there I heard only from the actual transporter, Tom Fields, who did a great job staying in touch while en route. It turned out we had to offload the car at a different location becasue of obstructions near the first address (the transporter is 14 feet high!), and Tom was very acommodating. In the end, we got the car two days early and in good condition.

Again, you should understand that the company you contract with acts rather like a booking agent, and much of the success you have will depend on what transport company the booking agency works with. In my case, I am very happy with both.
