This was the first time I had transported a car and, like others, was overwhelmed when I started the process of getting quotes. I immediately felt confidence in Mercury and Jim Gozde. They had a very competitive quote but more importantly established a good working relationship from the beginning (so I feel like I got the double bonus of excellent price and excellent service). Even though there were specific issues with the actual delivery of my car (it was late - truck supposedly broke down, the truck's dispatcher didn't return calls, driver had another delay while truck had to be towed a 2nd time), I was thoroughly pleased with my interactions with Mercury in general and with Jim Gozde specifically. He was professional from beginning to end; he encouraged me to call him any time I had questions, all calls were returned in a timely fashion if I didn't happen to catch him live (which rarely happened - I think the man works around the clock!). And even though none of the things that happened with the delivery truck were his responsibility or in his control, he took extra time to continue to be in contact with me and to find out what was going on with the transport of my car. In the end, of course my car arrived and while I would ask not to use that specific carrier again, I would definitely use Mercury and ask to deal directly with Jim.
