Booked an order through Magic Carpet to ship my car from out-of-the-way coastal Oregon to Houston, TX. The agents I spoke to were personable and seemed very honest in their answers to my questions about the process, reasonable expectations on timing and price. Their initially quoted price ($1150, $200 for them, $950 for carrier) held true. There were no surprises with regards to the price (unlike other reviews for other companies I read about), so it seems like they give reasonable initial quotes. The car was picked up a couple of days after the "first available day", but I was told in advance there would be a window of a couple of days due to the way truck-driving works. I was not present for the pick-up, but was called to be informed that the pickup had occurred. The carriers called me early the day before scheduled drop-off to tell me they would drop it off that night. They called again an hour before they arrived to say they'd be there in an hour. The carriers were polite and asked for the agreed upon amount ($950), which I paid them. My car was in the exact same condition it was picked up in.

CONCLUSION: Company gave accurate initial quote, picked-up within a reasonable time-frame, and delivered slightly early with good notice in perfect condition. Out of all the car transporters I talked to, definitely seemed to be one of the more trustworthy ones. Would use them again. However, if you can't be flexible on pick-up/drop-off +/- a couple of days of your target, you probably won't be satisfied with this or any transport company.
