Couldn't achieve their promises

I contacted Magic carpet based on the previous transport review. The person who answered my phone call was Michelle Henriksbo. She was so hospitable and promised me that there should be no problem to find a truck driver within 2-7 days, and also give me a very attractive quote, which is about $900 after $30 rebate (She also said the rebate can be deducted from the fees rather than returned after the vehicle is delivered). However, after a few days, I didn't get any response from her. I called again, and she was a little bit impatient and blamed me for unknown reason. Then I waited for a week, and called again, and she still didn't get a driver for me. This time she blamed me for a new reason that I contacted Red carpet at the same time, which make her difficult to find a driver. This make no sense to me!!!! First of all, I was never told that I should commit to their company, since my car is not picked up yet and they haven't not found a driver for me yet. Secondly, I was not contacted by Red carpet afterward, how can this affect the difficulty for her to find a driver for me. Anyway, after she blamed me and asked me to stop red carpet from finding driver for me, I did that immediately the same day as I promised her. Then I waited for another week, and didn't get any response. I called her again, and she said she was on vacation!!!!!! At this point, I was really mad about this person. And at this time, I already flied to Oregon, and commute everyday without a car. It was very very inconvenient for me. Finally after more than 3 weeks, she found a driver for me, and said the price is $1197 and asked me whether I will accept it or not. Gosh, do I have a second choice? If I wait for more time or switch to a different car shipping company, who is going to pay my lost ( I mean the time to wait and the inconvenience brought to me)? I have no choice but to accept it.

I really feel upset. I committed to your company, but did you committee to what you promised?

The story has not finished yet. After my car was delivered, I called her to ask about rebate. This time, she said I have to finish the review on transport reviews website before I can get $30 rebate. She eagerly wants me to give her company a 5 star and did include her name. I feel it's kind of a treat between $30 and a 5 star review. I am not going to lie. Above is what experienced. I am not sure whether I can receive the rebate based on my bad review. Let's see.

Quing, I am so sorry that you felt you had such a terrible experience with us at our company. It appears there was a lot of miscommunication and misunderstanding on how things work with auto transport in this industry. We do not like to hear our customer's feeling this badly. In behalf of the management here at MCAT our sincerest apologies and we wish you the best
