We had to drive 4 hrs. south to drop off our vehicle since there were no companies that would pick up this far north on highway 101. We were called by Angel's moving Autos to let us know that they had a company that could pick up our vehicle in Santa Rosa on a Wednesday. They had the driver call us to schedule a pickup place. He said he was coming from Oakland and first had to pick up a car in Petaluma. I told him that we had to drive to San Francisco after we dropped it off so if he wanted, we could just meet him in Petaluma. He said that would be great. We met him in the parking lot behind the outlet mall. We had no problems with the pick up. He told us he would be contacting us when he is getting close to the drop off place. We hadn't heard from him by the following Tuesday so we called his cell phone. He said he would be able to deliver it either late that night or early the next morning. We said we would rather get it the next morning. My son met him in Newnan, GA. He picked up the car, paid the driver and was on his way. We were pleased with how smoothly everything went. This was our first experience with shipping a vehicle.
We thought it was kind of pricey but we never researched what the average price to ship a vehicle that far was.
