This was my first experience trucking a car across country. The initial task was daunting: how does one decide? I called a dozen companies. Acouple folks were non-hustlers and very kindly told me about the auto transport review; this was fortuitous. After scanning the reviews for
a) five star ratings
b) non-paid testimonials from individuals
the list was significantly shortened. Then I took the best step and contacted Better Business Bureau. After screening the auto transport companies who were now on my VERY short list, it was clear there was ONE - only one - company who is at the tip top - (with just one "complaint") and this is HILTON AUTO TRANSPORT.
Then I called and spoke directly to the owner, Nichole, who was blessedly calm, non-pushy and answered all my naive questions in as a professional. She is indeed a PRO and I recommend her company to anyone who wants a trouble-free, non-hustling expert to guide them throught a quagmire of unregulated scammers and fly-by-night opportunists. I am referring collegaues to Nichole - what better testimonial is there?
FYI - I shipped a hi-end sports car in enclosed 18-wheeler; this costs more than an open truck but worth it for absolute protection and security. The truck's driver is a co-owner and also a true professional. Happily, the delivered price was several hundred dollars below other quotes. Be aware you must pay with a certified check - these guys do not take credit cards; too many ripoffs, on both sides!
