This letter is being written in response to your repeated harrassing and threatening phone calls, voicemails and texts by you and Eddie Wilson. Per the contract you are not entitled to a refund after 24hrs but I was willing to refund the amount because the vehicle had not moved in 1 week and I understood that you were anxious to have it moved, however I will not be threatened in any way by anyone and if this continues I will take legal matters of my own.
I did not persue you as a client in any way,you contacted me after researching my business online through multiple sources all of which show nothing but an excellent backround.I set up the contract with you as I do with every client clearly explaining that the vehicles move according to availability of existing carriers willing to take the vehicle. Your vehicle is an oversized load, extended cab 1500 pickup with a blown motor and not an easy vehicle to move, yet I worked on this for an entire week ,exhausting all possible resources with no willing or available carrier. You called me almost daily asking if I had a carrier in spite of me telling you that I would contact you when I was able to get you on a scheduled carrier as is normal business. You told Mr. Wilson that I "promised" you a carrier within 24 hrs which is not true and even states this in the contract, there is no way to know in advance what carrier may be available. You also have stated that I never answer the phone yet I spoke to you almost daily to answer the question as stated above, also an untruth. I stopped taking your calls and began to communicate with Mr.Wilson as he seemed to understand the business somewhat and my last conversation with him was that he wanted me to work on it until the end of the week.
You are requesting a refund of a cash deposit that you brought to me unasked for,the normal procedure is a credit card deposit but you wanted to come bring me cash. While this is extremely unusual I agreed because of the close proximity of our locations. I never asked you to come bring me money, this is not how my business is run ,but if I intended to keep your funds would I have invited you to my home? Yes,I run a business from my home as do millions of people in the world and I allowed you to come there. Yes I was in the process of selling my home, that was none of your business it is a personal matter.
Today, exactly, one week after contracting me you began a series of harrassing and demanding phone calls and voice mails to me demanding that I meet with you to give you cash, I have saved every one of them. In addition I have every call and text from Mr. Wilson threatening me.I was willing to meet with you but on my schedule as I had previous appointments but that was not good enough for you.I have a business prtocol when it comes to finances as I am a legitimate business,I do not meet on street corners to exchange money, proper forms must be filled out for accounting purposes and I offered to mail you a check to any address you which but that was not enough for you.You demanded that I meet you immediately and even threatened me when I could not.I have since stopped taking your calls and am contacting my attorney with all of this information.
