Giant Auto Transport did an excellent job of setting up a carrier for my Suburban to be delivered from TX to IL. I was called within 2hrs of making the request and given the carrier phone number contact name, pick up date and est. delivery date. It was picked up the next day with a scheduled delivery date 2 days later. On the scheduled delivery date I didn't hear anything so I called the carrier. Apparently, they had a problem with the trailer and were waiting on parts. The vehicle was left sitting in AR for the next 7 days. The carrier was in contact with me for a while, then he decided not to answer his phone or return calls. I could not understand why they couldn't get the vehicle (only 6hrs away) to IL. Finally, I called Giant without high expectations. I talked to Tim and he was very concerned about the situation and reassured me my Suburban was insured and protected by them. Tim put pressure on the carrier and I got my vehicle the next morning. All in all , Giant Auto did their job well, arranged for a carrier in a timely manner at a competitive rate. I wish I would have contacted them sooner about the problems with the carrier. They took care of it. This delivery took longer than expected but not at the fault of Giant...they had a bum carrier. Giant's customer service is to be commended. Thank You Giant!!
