The contract was pick up Friday early from South Florida, deliver no later than Sunday 10am to East Texas. First, no communication after pickup from carrier, I called the dealer and he told me the car was picked up. 8-10 hours later, no news. Next day, no news by late morning. I called dispatch, they told me Sunday Morning was not happening, maybe Sunday Night or Monday. Since I would not be around, the transport company (F1 Auto Transport) agreed that the new location would be 50 miles north at a residence instead of the business address originally given. No news Saturday evening, no communication Sunday until I called contract company and was told Monday at the Residence Address., Monday passed with no news from transport...then Tuesday Morning was told from contractor that it would be by 12 noon at the Residence address. No news from the transport company until I received a text around 2:30 pm telling me they were 24 miles away. a half hour later I was asked where (at the old business address) we would meet.. well, this driver was not on board with the changes they were made and discussed with 3 days prior and talked about constantly during the past 36 hours. Needless to say, he was not happy and it took the contractor to get him to continue to the residence and drop off the car. The car was dropped off (It looked a little different then when it was loaded), and paid for. Happy it is over.
