Evergreen Auto Transport DOES NOT HONOR REFUND Policy

I would NOT RECOMMEND doing business with this company because of it's POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES. Here's what happened:

September 9 - I called Evergreen and spoke with Kaleigh Jo Montgomery to schedule the transport of my vehicle from New York to California. Evergreen requested the entire amount of $928 right away, payable only by a check, no credit cards (I understand why now since it would be harder for you to get a refund from them). Evergreen first takes your money, then places your vehicle for "bid" on other sites where a trucking company might "bid" on the amount and decide whether or not to transport your vehicle. I waited patiently for 2 weeks and the vehicle was NEVER picked up.

September 26 - I called Evergreen to cancel the pickup which they could never schedule. Their contract stated "This comes with our 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee, which is, if your vehicle is not picked up within 15 calendar days of the first available pick up date you have given us, you may receive a 100% refund of all monies paid to us."

November 28 - After waiting patiently for 2 months for my refund, I emailed Kaleigh at Evergreen requesting the status of the refund. NO RESPONSE.

November 29 to November 30 - NO RESPONSE.

December 1 - I emailed Kaleight at Evergreen again. She responded stating that my email had supposedly gone to "spam". (yeah right). She stated that she'd look into it and get back to me "tomorrow." Tomorrow came... NO RESPONSE.

December 2 to December 5: NO RESPONSE.

December 5: I emailed Kaleigh AGAIN. NO RESPONSE.

December 5 - December 12: NO RESPONSE.

December 13: I received an email from "Evergreen Auto Transport Customer Service." The email was basically a template with my name entered. (I assume that the email is a template because my name is in a different font from the font of the rest of the email.) It basically states that they have had problems since July (yet they still took my money in September), that they no longer have funds, are laying off employees, and would not be able to pay anyone back until 12/12/12 (which I assume that Evergreen will still be operating until then - doesn't make sense if they are out of money).

SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME, MONEY, & HEADACHE AND DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS SHADY COMPANY. IF YOU DO, DO NOT PAY THEM WITH A CHECK OR CASH. THEY WILL HAVE NO REASONS TO GIVE YOU A REFUND.

**** EVERGREEN YOU HAVE MY NAME, EMAIL, NUMBER, AND MONEY (ALL $928 OF IT) - - I'M STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND (3 MONTHS LATER) ****
