Dishonest Car Shipping Broker

This is not a business looking for return customers.

First off, the Student Discount is a sham. Serge told me that he mailed a check to me for a $50 student discount. I never received it (and from my experience I know that things never get lost in the mail), so I believe that he straight up lied to me about that.

The other MAJOR thing that is inexcusable is that my car was shipped to Chicago instead of Milwaukee without even the slightest apology (or recompense). When I booked my shipping reservation over the phone with Serge, I explicitly told him that I wouldn't be arriving in Milwaukee until Tuesday, July 10. He assured me that the shippers would pick up the car 1 week prior (Tuesday, July 3) and that everything would be okay. To my complete surprise, the shippers called me on Friday, July 6 saying that they would have to send my car to their warehouse in Chicago if I couldn't receive my car by the end of the day. Since I couldn't book a last minute flight with the whopping price of such a ticket, I was left to spend a whole day + $50 in train/taxi fees to get from Milwaukee to Chicago (normally a 2 hour drive).

I am very amenable to taking some of the responsibility for the botched delivery because I failed to complain to Serge when my confirmation email showed that the delivery date was scheduled for Friday, July 6. But he sounded so confident while he was arranging the pick up of the car 1 week early and even after I expressly questioned him saying, "Is a pick-up of 1 week prior a standard arrangement for this type of shipment?"

The miscommunication no longer angers me, but even after the entire debacle we've had, Serge has told me that he mailed the $50 student discount check and I have not received it. I am astonished that this is how they do business.
