First I want to say that I am very glad I picked this company to transport my father's car. When I requested a quote from an Internet site, I received quotes from approximately 30 companies. Some were the same company using different names (same address & phone #), which made me very suspicious. Others, kept harrassing me via phone calls and emails. Door to Door was one of the few companies that sent me onlly ONE email with a follow up phone call. I thought this was very professional and the price was reasonable.
When I was ready to transport the car, I dealt with JR from Door To Door. He told me he could not use their own driver for the dates I had chosen. However, he promised they would use a driver they normally dealt with and that they would deliver the car on the date I had chosen. They got a guy by the name of Sammy, an extremely nice guy. He picked up the car on a Friday morning (approx 9:30 AM) in Northern New Jersey and he delivered it on the date I chose, Monday (approx noon) in Miami Beach, FL. When my father received the car in Florida, he called me to tell me what a nice guy Sammy was.
For your information, I was originally quoted $785 with a $95 deposit, payable upon the car being dispatched. The only thing that changed was the deposit. Door to Door changed the deposit amount to $135 without giving me a reason. I didn't care either way because the TOTAL amount remained the same.
If I ever need to transport any other car, I would definetely choose this company. I also would not hesitate to recommend them. Good job guys!!!!
