This is the update to this pathetic company they call Dependable Auto Shippers. I finally picked up my vehicle on 8/14/08. Nobody from that worthless company called me to say that my vehicle was delayed or ready to be picked up.
I called them on 8/13/08 to check the status of the vehicle in the evening and was informed that the vehicle had arrived around 4:30 p.m. However, this garbage of a Company has some type of agreement with a tow truck Company in Houston called Fast Tow which is only open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a 1 hour lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please tell me how do you expect customers who have jobs or other tasks to keep with the investment banker hours of the tow truck company?
This is just the beginning of the frustration. When I got to this location approximately around 1:05 p.m. in Houston the DAS section was locked. I noticed in the back section there was a line of people to pick up vehicles. I wasn’t sure whether this line was for towed/stored vehicles or DAS shipped vehicles. I called the number and the person informed me that this was also the line for DAS. I stood in line for about 15 minutes while customers were arguing with the attendant about their towed vehicles. I called the number again and specifically requested for the DAS facility and finally the lady inside told me she would unlock the gate. The time at this point was approximately 1:25 p.m. This is the first time in my life I have dealt with a Company this bad
