COMING SOON TRANSPORT CO. is, or was the name of the transport co. that G&L brokered my order to. When I received my van in new york after having it sent from florida where I bought it, it was damaged, during the move. I spoke to the office at coming soon and was offered a reduction in the price, as I am not in the auto body repair business I turned down the offer and filed an insurance claim. The transport companies have a one thousand dollar deductible on the insurance they have to carry. An adjuster from their insurance company looked at the damage and put a value of $965.00 for repairs. after repeated attempts to resolve the claim I found out that COMING SOON TRANSPORT had gone out of business and hung me for the damage. No help from the company that brokered the deal either. I went to the better business bureau, consumer affairs, the florida state attorney generals office, all to no avail. As far as I'm concerned this is a criminal act and the transport industry needs to address this problem for the well being of their customers. Hopefully, the con artist the ran coming soon is out of the transport business for good. My advise,from what I've learned, is; choose a company from the state you live in so, if you have to you can take them to court, and don't go through a broker,from my experience they shoulder no responsibility if anything goes wrong.
