after reading the responses here, i was a bit of a skeptic using this company but strongly considered them as their price was $200 lower than the avg. i did mention to caviness prior to reserving transport that there was some concern on my part of the several bad reviews on this site. they assured me that they would find a reputable hauler and since they are a transportation broker, at times, they do encounter unreliable shippers that they end up no longer using. however for the most part they did state they deal w/ pretty good auto haulers.

i had scheduled for pick-up over the weekend but was flexible on the pickup date depending on when the hauler was available. they ended up finding a hauler on sunday to pickup on tuesday. exotic auto carriers picked up the car on tuesday and dropped off the car in ny on wed 2/26. the car arrived earlier than quoted although i was pretty flexible on the delivery date. there was no issues w/ the car at all and i was pretty happy w/ the service.

i think a lot of the issues mentioned on here were a result of false expectations of when the car would be picked up or delivered. you can read the fine print that there is no guarantee so there is a possibiliity on a delay and going into this, i already knew this.

good things: price, was reliable, good communication, beat the estimated delivery date.
some things that couldve been better: the auto hauler called tue, the day of the scheduled delivery expecting the car to be ready at that moment. luckily i was flexible and was able to meet the driver in the evening. however, i would like to point out, the hauler was more than willing to pickup at my availability whether that was a pickup on tue or wed.

definite things u should do before shipping the car: take lots of pics in case there was a dispute of damage that occured during shipment. also take pics of the interior and odometer. if there are any discrepancies, you have the proof in the pictures. do point out any flaws in the vehicle so the driver is familiar w/ the condition of the car.
