Car Transport to California

This was our first time using a transport service. Our normal plan would be to drive the car ourselves from point A to B. We were a bit apprehensive.......

My college student son had taken an internship in California starting January 7th and due to scheduling complications, we needed to have his car shipped from Michigan. Complicating matters was the fact that we had a very limited window of time in which we could have the car picked up at our house in Michigan (our family was traveling over the Holidays) and we needed to make sure he had the car when he arrived in California as he was starting work the next day.

Our Transport Coordinator George did a great job in putting together a solution that worked with our scheduling requirements and he even had a contingency plan (which we implemented). They actually had the car waiting at LAX upon his arrival - didn't even need a taxi!

My son was in constant contact with the transport driver as the car made it's way west and my wife and I were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that the transport was in good hands.
