Unbelievable that there are companies out there just looking to steal your hard earned money. I used Atlantic Global LLC. based in Miami and New Jersey to transport a project car from Chicago, IL to San Juan, Puerto Rico. My car was half done, meaning that all the body work and professional paint was complete. I hired Atlantic Global LLC. to pickup my car and ship it. Since I am unfamiliar with the process I asked numerous times via e-mail and phone to provide me with all the cost information because I did not want any hidden fees such as taxes or port charges that would stop me from picking up my car. I was given a quote of $2,000 for everything and that would include taxes and fees. I continuously asked about hidden charges and they continued to say there were none. So I made my decision to send the car out based on that. I was also told my car would be in a container and insured.

My car was not picked up on time as it was four days late for pickup. But I was patient and professional.Then I never received any status to my vehicle throughout the process as communications stopped. Once my car arrived at the port there were numerous charges and fees and taxes to be paid. The first were fees and the company agreed to pay for them, the second were taxes and car charges which came to an additional 800.00, they refused to pay for this and I had no choice at this point but to pay for it or loose the car or pay storage fees. Excuse after excuse they failed to pay for the fees after their promise to pay. I had to pay those fees as well because they offered to reimburse me. Now they are refusing to reimburse me for that money which is an additional 200.00. How does a 0.16 million dollar company refuse to pay 200 when I clearly stated I would use them again to return the car?

The issue does not stop there. The car was damaged and now they claim there is no insurance to cover it. Even when I supplied pictures of car before and after they claim the car was damaged when picked up, basically calling me a liar and they are ignoring the pictures as proof.

These people are clueless, don't car, and are thieves. I would never recommend them and I would never use them again. Stay clear from this company as it's only intentions are to rob you of your money and disregard your items. I am proceeding forward with legal action and reporting to government agencies. Additional money I paid out of pocket aside from $2000 was an additional $2000. That was money I did not have or expect.
