My auto transport experience

In doing my research on auto transport companies, I found that Angel's Moving Autos carried an "A" rating with the Better Business Bureau. My experience was positive overall, as the staff were knowledgeable and friendly for the most part. Two negatives I have: 1)the price I ended up paying was $75 higher than my original quote and 2)I wasn't given any notice by the actual auto transport company of when they were arriving on the day of my pick-up. Regarding #1, one of the staff members stated that the price increase was due to the fact that I was booking my transport at the last minute (which was true-I didn't give them much of a window to work with). However, a second staff member stated that this was because the original price is only good for 10 days. This may be company policy, but I don't remember being told this the first time I called in. Anyway, regarding #2, I booked the auto transport for the same day that I called in, so the window of time for the auto transport to occur was much shorter than usual and perhaps that is why I didn't receive notice of when my transport person would arrive into town (he called me upon arrival, so I had to scramble to get to our designated meeting location). Because these negatives can be attributed to the last-minute nature of the transport, and my car arrived in a timely manner and in good condition, my experience was positive overall as I stated before. In addition, John, the individual responsible for transporting my car from TN to VA, was very courteous, polite, and experienced with auto transport. I would recommend Angel's for future business.
