I am a student that was moving from Fenton, Michigan to Vista, California and I needed to ship my 2002 Ford Focus. I had originally signed a contract with the company 'Car on a Truck' (note: do not use!) and after they took my $850 they didn't have anything to do with me for almost three weeks. So I started calling around and looking for different companies, even though it would cost me $100 to get out of my other contract. I found auto-transport-reviews.com and saw that Angels had a really good reputation for quality service. I got a quote for $1050 from the website, and then I called and spoke with Karen to see how fast she thought a driver could get to my house. She was absolutely amazing... really helpful and had thorough answers to all of my questions. She explained to me that even though there are different companies, they all use the same shipping lanes. Once you sign a contract with a company, they put your information and the quoted price in some sort of database, and then truckers will look at this information and decide what cars they can or want to pick up. If you are quoted a low price but someone else is quoted a higher price from the same area and a trucker only has one spot left, he's going to pick up the car with the higher price because he will get more money out of it. So what she said she would do is put my information in under the quoted price of $1050, and if anyone picked me up before my other company then I could switch to them, and if not, then it wouldn't be a problem. I thought that was really nice of her. This was on a Friday, and on Monday she called me and said that someone had said they could pick up my car that night. I immediately cancelled my contract with 'Car on a Truck' and signed with them. I spoke with the driver, Emeric, and he ended up not being able to come that night, but he said he would meet me at a parking lot by my house at 7:00am the next morning. It worked out better for me that way anyways. So at 7am on Tuesday morning, he was there right on time, he looked over my car, and he went on his way. He said the car would be there in eight days... so sometime on the following Wednesday. I flew to California and on Saturday, four days before the scheduled drop-off date, he said he could drop off my car the next morning. He did run late on Sunday, but I wasn't doing anything so it wasn't a big deal. The car was just as I left it. It did contain a lot of personal items in the trunk and in the backseat, so I admit I was worried about that, but everything was there and in perfect condition. Angels Moving Autos was amazing... I had a really great experience and I would definitely recommend them to anyone!!
