I had a great experience with Angel Movers. After considering quotes from a handful of auto-transporters, I chose Angels because they were among the lower cost quotes, and also their reviews were pretty good.

But in the hurly-burly of moving house fro NJ to FL, flying out on the same day the car would ship, closing on a new house the next day in FL, and all sorts of related mess, I somehow managed to hand over my car to another mover!
(Yes, rather foolish, when I had already paid Angels the advance and scheduled the day of pickup too; but as my excuse, the driver of the other company just called up and said, "when should i pick up the car?", and i assumed he was from Angels; even when he picked up the car, i did not read his receipt at all and was just glad that the 'car issue' was over...)

Anyway, I am in the Taxi on my way to the airport with the family when the Angel-trucker calls and asks, “when do you want me to pick up the car?”. Believe me you, my heart dropped to the pits of my stomach! Of course, Karen called me immediately to try and ascertain what happened and Dina followed up with helpful suggestions. Good thing that very soon the other company called and demanded the ‘advance payment’ needed before the car could move from their terminal (where it had reached by then) and I could explain my mistake. The upshot was, I ‘cancelled’ the other guy’s auto-move by paying them $100 for the ‘move / tow ’ from my home to their terminal. Dina and Karen promised to line up another driver who’d pick the car up from the terminal instead of my old home. After this, it was just a matter of logistics, and Angels worked very closely with me to get me a driver who could finally pick up the car the next Thursday and delivered it to our new house on Monday following. Talk of fast!

All in all, I’d definitely recommend Angels for anybody wanting a person on the other side of the phone instead of ‘an operator’. In all this, there were times they picked the phone up at first ring, and also times when I had to leave a message. But at no time was I ignored or left hanging – they always called back. Yes, they have their hands (and phones) full handling customers, but I take that as a good sign. Dina is great, and Karen is a wonderful part of her team. Even after all this (and paying a totally-avoidable $100 to the other guy), I did this move for a total of $725, much less than what many others quoted me.
