Not the shipper, only a fulfillment company

Yes they did as paid for, but I am giving them a lower rating because the rating systems ask if I would use them again… And I would not.
I will seek to do business only with the company who is actually shipping my vehicle; not a third party intermediary. Plus upon my initial review when I posted it, All Coast Auto Transport came back to the admin of the review company and stated I was not their customer. It wasn’t until I provided the shipping forms and other documentation that they seemed to acknowledge I was in fact, a customer. And they did as advertised, they provided me with all the second and third party info so I could try and make my claim.

Some things to think about-
Who are they?
Quoted from their contract "National Transport Solutions LLC, d/b/a All Coast Auto
Transport Will not be the company shipping your car."

Based on and I quote from their contract "Vehicle damage claims, although rare, are the responsibility of the assigned carrier who is required by law to carry a minimum insurance liability policy of $100,000 per vehicle. All claims must be noted and signed for at time of delivery, and submitted in writing to the assigned carrier within the terms of that carrier's bill of lading. All Coast Auto Transport will share the carrier insurance policy information upon request but is not the entity responsible for any damages. The assigned carrier is solely responsible for the condition of your vehicle while it is in his possession."

So if you are like me and that “rare” occasion of damage does occur, you will have to go through at minimum 2 companies and a third party carrier to resolve your claim for damages.
PROs: Vehicle shipment pricing was on target with all others. Initial communication was easy and thorough.
CONS: I understand they post these to a BBS and drivers aren't selected until near shipment time but I would have liked confirmation of on-time pick up more than 48 before the asked for time. This may not be a factor for some, but because of all the moving parts in my move, timing was important for this shipment.

This customer has given us a less than satisfactory rating even though he stated we did everything we were supposed to do under our agreement. The vehicle was dispatched by our company, picked up and delivered on time and at the price quoted. This vehicle unfortunately, received minor damaged by the carrier, not by our company. We are DOT licensed and bonded transport brokers. This is clearly written in the terms and conditions as well as in our agreement, both of which were signed by this customer. Once notified of the damage, we promptly provided this customer with all the required insurance certifications for this carrier and made assistance calls to both the customer and the transport company. 95% of all transports in the US are arranged by transport brokers. We do not hide the fact that we are brokers. In fact, we clearly put in in writing and require our customer signatures to acknowledge this fact. In this case, this customer is giving us a less than perfect rating even though by his own admission, we did exactly what we were contracted to do and even offered assistance for a damage claim in which we had no part.
