Hi Ronaldo,
I want to personally apologize for the delays during the pick-up of your vehicle in New York. As you know, we had to reschedule three different carriers to come to Long Island to pick your vehicle up, as the first two had unavoidable mechanical problems. While these carriers could have picked up your vehicle on time, both trucks required time consuming repairs that would have prevented them from reaching California before you went on vacation. I made a decision to change gears and go with another carrier. I did this because you told me, well after you placed the order, that you were going out of the country on May 6th 2007 and that the vehicle needed to be delivered no later than Saturday May 5th, 2007. Essentially that leaves very little room for error. While I take full responsibility for the delays in New York, I will point out that the vehicle did arrive prior to your vacation and within a 4-day window of the first date possible to deliver the vehicle, which was May 1st, 2007. I communicated with you several times a day during the delays and I personally kept you abreast of each and every development. I think it is a mistake to assume that your calls every half hour were the only reason the task was completed on time, as I take pride in my work and genuinely care to see a successful transport through to its conclusion. Again, please accept my apologies.
Regards,
Eric Sailer
