We had a few high end cars to be transported (a Rolls Royce, a Jaguar and a Mercedes) from WA to MN. Almost 1500 miles trip. We asked Ray from FlatRate shipping to put us on the board for 1900 dollars to ship our 3 high end cars. Everybody else told us that that will be way too low to ship those cars and they refused to put us on the board for shipping. However Ray did put us on the board even so he was unsure if anyone will take our cars for that low. Also most companies will charge you a retain fee before they put you on the board for shipping. FlatRate shipping wont charge a penny until the transport is completed. I think thats pretty cool and safe for the clients. Let me put it to you this way. Just because a transport company charges you and have you sign a contract to put you on the board that doesnt mean that the shipment will take place. It is at the driver's mercy if he takes it or not. Do your research before you sign anything and pay anyone elses for shipping. From our point of view we will never used any other company. FlatRate shipping did their job to acomodate us as we requested. Thats pretty rare and not many companies out there will care to acomodate their clients. Most companies sees in their clients a dollar sign. FlatRate did everything that we requested them to do and at the end our cars got shipped. The driver also was very careful and profesional. The transaction was perfect and keep in mind that we had control over everything that took place from the first moment. We only had to wait a bit over a week for shipment to take place. Do yourself a favor and use FlatRate shipping and I am sure that your experience will be as pleasant as our was or even better. Thank you Ray for everything was trully a pleasure. There are not enough words in english dictionary to show my satisfaction. If I had to rate this expirience on a scale from 1 to 10, I would say its a 12. I am very pleased with the whole transaction!
