Per our terms and conditions, we are more than happy to provide our customers with information they will need about their carrier’s insurance to file a claim in cases of damage. This consideration was provided for the Morgan’s, whose carrier – All Pro Trucking – never informed us that the vehicle was damaged. We find their unresponsiveness quite unusual, as All Pro has hauled for us very successfully on several past occasions.
Since the original call the customers made to us to report damage we have not heard further what, if anything, we can do to help. The next we even heard of problems was this negative review. If we don’t know there’s an issue, how can we help solve it?
In many cases carrier’s insurance will not cover damages not noted on the delivery inspection sheet. This is an important note to consider; most insurance companies will not avoid a claim and we’re surprised we were not given the chance to follow up with them for our customer.
(Sidenote: This vehicle was ready 1-11-08, assigned to a carrier on the same day it was booked for pick up 1-12-08. Delivery time estimate was 2 calendar days. QUICK!)
