Interesting how things are only remembered one way. This client did book 3 weeks in advance and we provided 4 different times that we were able to pick up his vehicle and he would not return our calls. He would leave messages after hours stating that he is not available and we can not pickup when we told him we had a truck available. We told him through voice mail because he would not pickup the phone, that it has been 2 weeks 1 week prior to him leaving and you will not contact us during business hours that it is best if he finds a new transporter. Then 2 days before he was suppose to ship his vehicle he calls up saying I tried another company and they could not get me a truck assignment. As a courtesy to him we called an independent carrier that we knew was in the area and asked him if he can help this client out. We got a price from the carrier because he would have to go 280 miles out of his route to get the vehicle and would have to charge the additional transport cost to help this client. We then called the client and informed him on what we can do. We also told the client why the price was different then we originally had. He said that would be fine and that he understood, he also said I'm sorry for being such a jerk before. he said he was putting us off because the other company kept telling him that they could do it cheaper.
It's like this there is always going to be companies out there that are going to tell you they can do something cheaper then us. If you want a fair price from a 17 year old company that is going to treat you right then WolfePack Transport is the company you want to hire. We at WolfePack Transport do everything within our power to assist our clients needs.
