I originally contracted with another company (4 star) that required a $200 deposit and agreed to transport my truck for $1150 total. This bid was close to the highest bid I recieved. (I highly reccomend not contracting with transport companies that shoot you low ball bids. I recieved bids as low as $750. Checking reviews on the low ball bidders, I found that they had numerous bad reviews and overall low ratings). After 10 days and no pickup date scheduled, I offered to pay more to get a carrier interested in moving my truck. After over 2 weeks and not having a pickup date scheduled, I decided to look for another transport company.

I called Sue @ Wheeler Transport based upon the positive reviews (5 star) that I read. She contacted a carrier that runs the CA to TX route and called me back within minutes with a quote, pickup date and delivery date. The truck was picked up on time and was delivered 1 day early in good condition. The driver was very courteous and good about staying in contact with delivery status. I ended up paying $1350 which is at the top level for moving vehicles from CA to TX based on other reviews but getting my truck transported was my priority.
