First and most importantly, as far as using being a Christian, I am sorry he thinks that way. I am a very proud Christian and tell everyone as he wants us to.
I am sorry that he is upset. He was told from the beginning that moving a trailer on a car hauler is difficult and we would try our best. I did not tell him he had to raise the price, he asked what would make it go faster and was told more money. I understand it is frustrating, very much so. But when you are moving a vehicle, regardless of who you move it with. The price is directly proportionate to how fast it gets picked up.That is why our price on your quote is a suggested price. We price the move at a suggested price that is figured from the average of prices that are being moved at the time of the quote. We try to tell every customer this. I do not believe this is being dishonest in any way. If anyone will call us, I assure you we are not dishonest in any way.
Rob was told all this but he insisted on screaming at us and ranting. I did not lose my temper in any way with him. He was told the same thing that I am telling you and we said this many many times while trying to be patient with a customer. When he would not stop yelling and threatening, I told him multiple times that I would have to hang up if he did not calm down. I am sorry to say that I had to hang up. If any one reading this has dealt with upset customers before, I am sure you understand why I would have to pick a point that the ranting must stop. On time he left me a message, which I still have saved, that was almost 4 minutes of this.
Again I am truly sorry that this did not work out. I did refund his deposit as he requested. I will always do that if we do not get you car moved within the 1-10 business days.
