Webster Relocation a huge failure

My recent experience with Webster was a complete disappointment.

After the initial calls and emails touting that they were a "Christian Company" with a low quote they immediately went into hiding. Upon finally tracking them down, they stated that they were unable to arrange transport due to the "low quote" and only then explained to us that no drivers could be found for this amount. Why quote it if it is too low? Because they wanted our deposit.

Come on people, Christian or not, we are talking about a classic bait and switch operation here if not wire fraud since all of this was done on the internet and phone. This is obviously a questionable business practice at best. Offering a service for a price only to pull back the offer knowing that the service could not be performed at this price is not a Christian business practice. I would never use them for moving my automobiles again and would suggest that you find someone that you can trust.

The vehicle as we told you on the phone is an unusual vehicle and the automated quoting was for a suggested price. As we told you on the phone I would not recommend shipping at a lower price for a 1951 model restored vehicle. We left the choice to you and you opted for a lower price and then called back 5 business days later and told us you arranged for a higher price with someone else. I am sotry you are unhappy, however, we do state how the system works to all of our customer and leave the pricing up to them. As it is their vehicle and time and who better knows the importance of both, other than our customer.
