When I first booked with this company, I was very excited because they gave a great price, $470 from South Dakota, to Pittsburgh, PA. Tony was very friendly and helpful with helping me to understand what they did and how they did it. I was very happy I booked with them. I shouldnt have given my credit card info before the contract I guess, but I did not think they would take the deposit before they got my signed contract. They took the deposit within the hour of me first talking to them and didnt get the contract until 2 days later. I pushed the thought to the back of my mind, because Tony was so nice to me and I trusted what he said. The car was to be picked up on 3/22 or within 2 days, so on the 24th, I called because I had not heard anything from this company since I first booked with them. Except for emails saying that I needed to send the contract in PDF format and not scanned into email like I was told would be fine from Tony. Anyway, I spoke to Richard on the 24th, and he was very kind and nice and told me he would hear something within the next 24 hours and would give me a call. This call happened aprx. 0930 on the 24th. So, when I had not heard anything the day on the 24th I called them at 0905 on the 25th and asked if they heard anything. Richard said nothing had changed. I told him he advised me something would happen within 24 hours and he said it hasnt been 24 hours and I told him it would be in 20 minutes. Richard actually yelled at me like I was a child or something and I still wanted to use the company! I just wanted some kind of answer. He kept talking over me, yelling at me, I couldnt believe it! he kept telling me the 2 day window didnt start until the 24th, so I had to tell him what HIS contract stated, and he was telling me something different than what was on his contract. I told him I wanted to cancel and I wanted my deposit back. He said that was fine, and he would have it in my bank account within 24 hours, then we get off the phone, I receive the email stating the order had been canceled but I wouldnt have my deposit back until 48 to 72 hours. So there again, another lie from these people. I wonder if it would have been different if I talked to Tony.

Dear Brandi, when you set up the transport of your vehicle with Viking Auto Transport and it was explained to you that deposit would be taken at the time that you set up your reservations. We offer a 100% refund of your deposit if you cancel for any reason as long as we don’t have a truck assigned to you. This was explained to you and it is a clearly stated in the service agreement that is send out automatically to all our customers at the time you set it up. You called this office for a status report and it was told to you that we should have a truck assigned to you within the next 24 hrs, you called the office the next day first thing in the AM, and you were explained that we were still waiting for the truck to arrive. For what ever reason at this time you decided to cancel the order even that your car was still not late in being picking up. So at this time we accepted your request to cancel. And I personally told you and I did not yell at you, that you would be receiving a confirmation e-mail in the next 24hrs confirming your refund. You misunderstood again; I did not tell you that your deposit would be back in your account in 24 hrs, since l in normal baking time it usually take between 48 to 72hrs for it to appear in your account. Your order has been canceled and you will be receiving a full refund. Richard H.
