Buyer Beware - Bait and Switch

Viking quoted an initial price, was unable to find a carrier for the quoted price, did not pick-up the vehicle as scheduled, did not inform me of the delay, then asked for an additional $200 in oder to secure a carrier. I finally had to cancel the order and SunCoast made the move for $90 less than Viking's final price, immediately and without any hassle. I was told that my deposit would be refunded, but only after I removed my negative review from this site. There are companies that will quote a fair market price upfront and move your vehicle as promised, so why take your chances?

Miss Sites you did not mention in your review that we provided you with three different prices to move your car, and you chose the least expensive, it was explained to you that the price that you were choosing was the cheapest, so your car was last in line, since there were other cars paying more to drivers. This was not a bait and switch!!! This was all explained to you at the beginning, but you still chose the least expensive way, that usually takes longer to pick up the vehicle. We offered you the additional $100 and you chose to take it. But if you would have accepted it when we offered it to you in the begining your car would have not taken that long to get picked up. And you absolutely correct your deposit has been refunded in full......Richard
