Dear UD Transportation Team,
I had a really terrible time trying to get a car shipped through you. I had a contract with Max@udtransportation. The pick up date was supposed to be 2.1.21 on a Monday. I never heard from him. I emailed him to ask what happened. He called and said he tried to reach me and didn't hear back. I never received an email and there was no message on my phone, no missed call. We went back and forth trying to set up another date. Twice my father postponed his trip to be available for the pick up. The day before pick up I asked Max if my dad had to be there and if he could leave the key somewhere. He assured me yes, don't worry ma'am. Friday comes, I reach out to him for an estimated time frame and he says the driver said he would not pick up the car without a person there. I immediately tell Max, ok, my dad will wait there, what is the time frame. He then came back and said the driver already had a full truck (in a matter of 5 minutes) and could not pick up the car and that I could go to another broker. I am now back to square one. Every time I talked on the phone with Max, his phone would go in and out of service and neither of us could hear each other. Then his phone continuously got emails or texts and it would cut out. This whole experience felt shady from the get go. And I did not listen to my gut. I really needed this car shipped this week and I am really disappointed.
