This was my first time using a car transport company.
My Dad recently retired and has been looking for a project car to occupy his time.
I found the car he was looking for (51 Ford) in my town and bought it for him and needed to ship to his house about 400 miles away.
I selected a number of well reviewed companies from this site and started getting quotes.
United was about average to low average of the quotes I got. Based on their reviews I decided to go with them.
The process was painless, Mark at United was a great help in answering my questions and making himself available when ever I called.
I admit I was a bit concerned using a broker, but I understand the logistics of this type of business and it all worked out great in the end.
The company and driver United hooked me up with was first rate, they showed up on time (20min early actually) with a clean, closed trailer attached to a newer model tow vihicle and delivered on the other end exactly when they said they would. if i hadn't had them pick up in the afternoon, they would have delivered on the same day!!!!
The Driver was very knowledgable and helped with the loading and unloading of the vehicle
The drivers name was "Jug" and the company was Lucier Transport. I can't say enough nice things about him.
If you need to get a vehicle from one state to another and you are unsure of how to proceed as I was, just call Mark at United Car Transport and let him handle it for you.
You can not rent a truck and trailer and move your car for less then you can having them do it for you...I actually looked into doing it myself and it would have cost almost double what I paid to have it done by United
In the future I will only use United Car Transport for my auto transport needs.
