I too am a first time user of transporting a vehicle this way. If my dad were still alive, he would have jumped in the car and drove it here for me. Unfortunately, he is no longer living and the car I was getting was one from his collection. Since I do not have his luck, I had to find an alternative method of getting the car to my house. I was extremely apprehensive about having a stranger transport my dad's studebaker to my house. I went online to get an estimate of what it might cost to have it shipped to my. Pat was the first one to contact me and was very professional. My first impression was that he was honest and could be trusted. He explained the business and calmed my nerves a bit. He was not in a hurry to get off the phone, gave me his complete attention, and answered all of my silly questions. I was on vacation so asked if he would give me a week to get home and think. While my phone and email went crazy, Pat respected my request and did not bother me. I called him back when my vacation was over and knew that he was the one one that could be trusted. Less than 12 hours later, he called me and said that a truck was available to pick up my car the next day. when the truck arrived in front of my mom's house, on time, the driver answered all of her questions and concerns. He was professional in loading and was very careful with my car. The driver contacted me throughout the trip. He was arriving very early in the morning and asked if I would meet him then instead of waiting until daylight. I agreed... (was nervous about a 3 am meeting but I had my husband).... my gut again told me that things would be ok b/c Pat said they would. He was RIGHT! The guys called me at 3 am and before we could dress and get out the door, they were unloading my car! When they say door to door, they mean it! I live on a dead end street and the driver BACKED his truck down my road and unloaded right at the end of my driveway! He even helped push it in my yard b/c it wouldn't start! He took time to go over the Bill of Lading, gave me my copy and was gone within 30 minutes. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I owe it all to Pat Lynch! If I ever have to do this again, Ultimate Auto Shipping is the only company I will contact.
