This company reached out to me when i put out a request for quote to ship car. I had a number of quotes come in from $800 which was the US CAR GO Freight quote to $1300 from other vendors. When i spoke with the agent they confirmed multiple times that the $800 quote was good. I verified this multiple times before agreeing and signing the contract for delivery.. Gave them a $250 downpayment and scheduled pickup the following weekend. They they called and asked to delay pickup for two days which i accepted. then on day of pickup they advised that they needed additional time to get a driver. Again i agreed. On the day of the pickup they then advised me that the cost would be $1700.. When i told them this was not what we agreed upon they then said it would be $1400. What i also found interesting is that the rep that worked up the agreement with me was not available to discuss this situation and that i could cancel with a $200 cancel fee.. I should have known the price was too good. I would not recommend this shipper as they definately are doing a bait and switch.

We did have a driver available at the initially quoted price, but on the day of pickup, the representative who handled your agreement was unexpectedly on sick leave. The driver attempted to reach her directly but was unable to connect and continued their route. Consequently, another agent contacted you to inform you that no other cars were scheduled for the same route, leading to the higher price quoted by the new driver. Please understand that the final price is determined by the carrier, not by us. We made several attempts to accommodate your needs, including offering alternative solutions closer to the original quote, which were declined. When your initial agent returned, she reached out to apologize sincerely and offered a refund if you chose not to proceed. However, you indicated that you were planning to leave multiple negative reviews, as you work in blogs and media marketing.
