Hiring an auto transport company.

You are really hiring two companies with one call. The Broker aka UFirst. Don Tackett was very good from the very first contact with a quote. He did follow up but was not pushy. All the quotes fell into two groups. Reasonable and high. UFirst was the highest of the reasonable group. My car had transmission problems and there was no extra shipping surcharge.

The second company you get is the carrier UFirst hires for you. THIS IS WERE THE SCARINESS Lurks!
Just Google auto transport companies. When my car arrived it looked just as I remember it looked like when I flew to MD to inspect my eBay purchase BUT I STILL OPENED THE HOOD TO SEE IF THE ENGINE WAS STILL IN THE CAR.

The truck driver (2 of them) were very good eventhough English was not their first language, probably Russian. Their equipment was top of the line. Car was pick up timely and delivery was the next day.

Now I need to get my mechanic to do his job, I hope soon.
