After reading other company reviews on this website, I thought I'd write on regarding my experience with Tristar trucking. If you read the reviews, everyone is a liar according to them, but why so many dissatisfied customers, Sam? I never actually got to the point of getting my vehicle picked up, so I can't related to some of the stories, but mine is similar. They underbid my contract, then couldn't find anyone to ship for their agreed to price. They also require a $175 deposit down, before any carrier is found, which is not an industry standard. They took my money, and never contacted me until I started calling and emailing them a week later. I sent an email that stated that if I didn't hear back from them I would cancel my order, so they decided instead of calling me to just cancel my order and not let me know. It wasn't until a week later that they told my wife that they had cancelled my order per my email. Never emailed or called. I finally told them to cancel per email request, and they keep $50 for administration fees. Please take note...I found out that the $700 is just the shipper's cost, you have to add the $175 deposit for them as the broker. The contract is very unclear and confusing, I'm sure on purpose. Lastly, when talking to my wife, Sam had no care about getting the car to us on time for my son's birthday, nor about any problems we had. Their customer service is the worst, attitudes are wth worst, and PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY AS THEY WILL UNDERBID AND UNDERPERFORM!!

It was the customers choice to cancel and we even has his email [liar], he called us on 5/4 and said what an idiot my wife is to have handled this and that we should call him back. The wife called on 5/4 and asked where is the car and we responded that the order was cancelled, she was astounded and indicated that she would speak to her husband, the next thing we knew was that he sent an email to cancel the order.
